Stonefire Tandoor Baked NAAN

Stared in 2011 Stonefire Authentic Flatbreads was formed by Sam Ajmera along with his sons, Ojus and Tejus. There was a lot of trial and error and searched the world to find the perfect flatbread and cooked in clay ovens. These flatbreads are made without artificial flavors, preservatives, Trans fat and hydrogenated oils. I was so excited to try these as I like flatbread pizza, sandwiches, and pita pockets. They offer NAAN which is baked at extremely high heat, in a tandoor oven, just as they were hundreds of years ago.  The extremely high heat produces the big bubbles, airy texture and delicious smoky flavor of an authentic Indian naan. PIZZA the crust is hand stretched and baked in a stone oven at a high heat. The last one they have is PITA which is a round, pocketed bread, created by baking at an extremely high temperature. The high heat puffs up the dough and creates a “pocket”. Even as the bread cools and flattens, this “pocket” remains, creating a perfect pouch for your favorite fillings.

My Opinion: I really like the flavors of these flatbreads and like the fact they are made in small batches and free of anything artificial.
