Aflac #Duckprints and $50 Restaurant.com Gift Card Giveaway

We have all been affected in our lives with someone that has cancer and it is the hardest thing to face but have had to see a child deal with cancer? This is the most heartbreaking to me as they are so young and here they are fighting for their lives never knowing what will happen and they are so brave for everyone around them although they may really be scared inside. I recently learned about Aflac Duckprints and what this is their mission are to eradicate childhood cancer with donations. Follow the Journey with the Aflac duck making his way across the country visiting childhood cancer centers and see who makes an impact in the world. Also do you someone that is making a difference in the fight against childhood cancer if so share a story on the website as your Footprint will be featured and some of the most impactful, awe-inspiring individuals will be invited to an exclusive event at their local children’s hospital. Throughout the year, the Aflac Duck will be hosting VIP guests at commemorative ceremonies that honor those leaving their Footprint. How about some Duck Slippers? You can buy them in the shop.  Visit http://bit.ly/1m8YoSm to learn more.  I am asking you to help me spread the word and with every re-tweet Aflac will donate $2 to the Aflac Cancer Center so share today and get everyone involved with #Duckprints on Facebook and Twitter. Also use http://bit.ly/1pK8Hhj and the Alfac page at http://bit.ly/1iwzQAo so post your hearts out using the hashtag#Duckprints let's raise lots of money to help children out in need on Facebook and Twitter Now until Mother's Day!

I also wanted to share with Trisha Henry Gaffney's story she is a cancer survivor and mother. On Valentine’s Day 1996, 19-year-old Trisha was diagnosed with embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma, an aggressive tumor usually found in the head, neck, hands or feet of young children. Trisha’s was the first reported case to occur in the right ureter, the tube connecting the kidney and bladder.
After going through surgery to remove her right kidney, ureter and a portion of her bladder, Trisha spent a year at the Aflac Cancer Center undergoing chemotherapy and radiation. “You don’t want your cancer to define you,” Trisha said, “but as you get older,
you realize it plays a much bigger part in your life than you’re willing to admit.
