This is great if you are looking to limit the amount of food intake that has to be weighted or maybe a recipe calls for a certain amount so you weight to get precisely that. This is also a great educational tool to see what exactly you are eating and how much to make better choices.
My Opinion: This scale is the thinnest and lightweight one that I have seen and I really like the size.
