Milestone Pod Review and Giveaway

At work we have an incentive to walk and we use a pedometer which tracks our steps and we upload them to get points which in turn we can trade for money or gift cards well mine has gone to the washer and unable to work again plus when I wore it I found it did not track all my steps. So I found Milestone Pod this pedometer works differently as the silicone holder keeps it in place on your shoe after you insert it. It is Bluetooth 4.0 compatible and you can see how much tread is used on you shoe so you know when to replace it as a runner or someone who is always on their feet. You can also enter emergency information in the pod such as medical history, blood type and so much more. The Milestone Pod is also rain and sweat proof.  It comes in the colors pink, blue and black.
My Opinion: This is lightweight on my shoe lace and seems to be working well displaying my steps. I really like the discount reward program this offers too. I love the color pink as well. Need more color options.

  1. Awesome review, Missy! Thanks for sharing.

Full disclaimer, I am a MilestonePod employee, but I wanted to add one thing. Missy used the device as a step tracker, however, the Pod can also be used to show detailed run and walk data as well as the mileage on the shoe. Once you sync with the free MilestonePod App, you can view distance, pace, cadence, steps, calories, stride length, stance time, shoe mileage, and run history. Pretty awesome information, especially when you consider the retail price of $24.95. But, like I said, I'm biased. :o)

  2. I like that this one connects to your shoe. I did not realize it would provide you with more data as indicated above on the comment.

  4. As a nurse I like that you can put in your emergency contact info. Really important if you have an accident or can't talk if injured.

  5. I like that you don't need to recharge the battery on a daily basis, that makes it really nice.

  6. I really like that it is able to hold your emergency contact information. That is very helpful.
