Image Entertainment and RLJ Entertainment are releasing Digging Up Marrow on Blu-Ray,
DVD and Digital Video on March 24,2015 for a SRP of DVD $27.97 and Blu-Ray
$29.97. This is directed, written by Adam Green who also stars in the movie. This
movie star Ray Wise (X-Men First Class), Will Barratt (Frozen), Adam Green
(Hatchet) and a roster full of horror genre favorites and iconic artists.
Writer/director Adam Green sets out to make a
documentary to explore the tantalizing premise after being contacted by a
mysterious man named William Dekker who claims he can prove that monsters are
real and insists these grotesque creatures are forgotten, hideously deformed humanoids
inhabiting a vast underground metropolis. Determined to expose the truth, Green
embarks on a bone chilling odyssey and gets more than he bargains for when he
dares to go Digging up the Marrow.
The monsters in this film are vividly brought to
life by visionary American Artist and Trans Media Artistry Pioneer, Alex
Pardee. Pardee showcased his fine art in galleries around the world; he also
acted as an art director for numerous bands including The Used.
My Opinion: The movie was very interesting and quiet
scary for me and I will never be confident to walk outside at night again for a
while anyways as the monsters were so scary looking. I would not watch this
along either as I was frightened. The edge of your seat good and recommended
others to see.
