The Gospel Of John

Lionsgate Home Entertainment has released The Gospel of John on DVD, Digital HD and on Demand this stunning film brings a fresh perspective on one of the most sacred texts in history. This movie is directed by David Batty New International Version is narrated by British actor David Harwood(The Merchant of Venice), The King James Version is narrated by Brian Cox ( The Bourne Identity) and stars Selva Rasalingam (TV Series Legends), Mourad Zaoui ( Homeland), El Mahmoudi M'Barek ( The Gospel of Luke). The Greatest Story Ever Told is now told completely. Shot on location in Morocco this is the first ever filmed version of the biblical text unedited. Using the gospel narrative as its script word for word this profound and stunning film sheds new light on one of history’s most sacred texts. Beautifully shot, wonderfully performed and informed by the latest theological, historical and archeological research this film is something to be enjoyed and treasured.

My Opinion: I like to learn all I can about the bible through movies or reading as each time I see or learn something new. I really enjoyed this movie as I felt very touched and felt the emotions in the film.
