Estes Rockets Holiday Gift Guide 2016

Rockets can be entertaining for kids as it teaches them about science and STEM. I want to tell you about Estes which has a wide variety of model rockets and they would be great for this upcoming Christmas for your kids. I was sent the Whirlwind which is for ages 10 and up no assembly is required as this little gem comes right out of the box ready to go! Designed to Work with the 1900 T-Bolt or 1923 Sonic Boom Air Rocket Launch Set, the Whirlwind does just what its name says, it "whirls" in soars up to 150 feet. Sonic Boom Rocket Launch Set is powered by AIR and hours of fun! No batteries are needed for the Sonic Boom which means it’s always ready to go. The Sonic Boom Air Rocket comes fully assembled and the launch base will take just a few minutes to set up! Standing almost a foot tall, pumped up and ready to go, the Sonic Boom can climb to 150 feet! The rocket’s foam nose cone creates a “bounce” for quick and easy recovery and it’s ready to launch again! Mini Blaster Air Rocket Launch Set is for ages five and up and easy to launch and can be used over and over again. This soars 25 feet and the sky is your playground.

My Opinion: I like how easy it is to use these results you do is taken outdoors jump in the air and come down on the cube and away it goes it is so much fun for kids to see how far they can launch it by being active outdoors. At the same time, they are learning about science. I know some nieces and nephews and my family that will love this for Christmas this year and or upcoming birthdays.

About Estes: Estes Industries was founded in 1958 in Denver, Colorado. Vern Estes developed a machine that mass-produced solid propellant model rocket engines. This invention gave people a consistent and reliable way to launch model rockets. Later, the company branched out into the mass production of balsa nose cones and adapters for model rockets. Estes® began selling model rockets by mail in 1960. The company was moved in 1961 to a 77-acre tract of land on the outskirts of Penrose, Colorado. Rapid growth followed and soon Penrose became known as the “Model Rocket Capital of the World”. Estes Industries has grown to be the leading manufacturer of model rocket kits, engines, and accessories in the world. COX® joined the Estes family of products in 1996.
For over 50 years, COX has been the choice of millions of families getting started in model airplane flying. COX products are designed for first time users who want the best start to a flying adventure and for more advanced fliers. Experience the magic of flying with COX Free Flying, Control Line or Radio Control aircraft.
