Kickboxer Vengeance



On November 8, 2016, from RLJ Entertainment you can own Kickboxer: Vengeance on DVD for an MSRP of $29.96 and Blu-ray for an MSRP of $29.97. Co-written by Dimitri Logothetis and Jim McGrath and directed by John Stockwell, the film stars Jean-Claude Van Damme (Bloodsport), David Bautista ( Guardians of the Galaxy), Alain Moussi (X-Men: Days of Future Past), Cain Velasquez (Term Life), Georges St. Pierre (Captain America) and Gina Carano (In The Blood). Kickboxer: Vengeance is an update from the 1989 classic film which follows the story of Kurt Sloane. John Claude Van Damme returns for the new chapter of the adrenaline-charged kickboxer legacy. Kurt Sloane has always been there for his brother, Eric, who’s known in the martial arts world as a modern-day warrior. But when the ruthless and undefeated fighter Tong Po brutally ends Eric’s life in a no holds barred match in Thailand, Kurt devotes himself, to train with a master in a quest for redemption and revenge. Featuring MMA champions Georges St. Pierre, Gina Carano, Cain Velasquez and Fabricio Werdum, Kickboxer: Vengeance delivers a one-two punch jaw dropping fights and death defying stunts.

The Blu-ray and DVD will include a behind the scenes featurette with David Bautista, Georges St,Pierre, Gina Carano and Alain Moussi, taking you into the world of Kickboxer: Vengeance. You will see firsthand how the champion fighters take their martial arts skills from the mat to the big screen to create the most intense, brutal and realistic battle seen on film.
My Opinion: I had never seen this movie before as I was a little young when the classic film came out but I really enjoyed it and I was on the edge of my seat watching this action packed film wondering who would win.
