I know you must have seen the infomercial from Red Copper, I know I have and I was impressed with it being oven safe (up to 500 degrees), scratch resistant, Non-Stick, dishwasher safe, stay cool handle, ceramic copper infused cookware along with fast, even cooking of foods. I was sent the 10” Fry Pan I also noticed that the women in the commercial are from the cookbooks for Dump Cakes her name is Cathy Mitchell.
The Red Copper Fry Pan is PFOA Free and PTFE Free and it comes with first-time use instructions. You need to season it before you use it for the first time with a light coating of vegetable oil over the entire surface. Place in the oven at 300 degrees for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool finally wipe away an excess oil with a cloth or a paper towel. You are recommended to do this 2 times a year but it the non-stick leaves sooner repeat the process
My Opinion: I like the pan and the way it cooks but my question is how can it be non-stick when you must coat it frequently? It is a great pan for the price and sharp looking as well. I found it cooked food just fine and I am just going to coat the pan each time so I will not have to worry about food sticking.
