Revolting Rhymes

Out now on DVD is Revolting Rhymes with an MSRP of $14.99 from Magic Lantern Pictures and the animation is based on the extraordinary book written by Ronald Dahl and illustrated by Quentin Blake. Revolting Rhymes mixes the classic fairy tales of Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White, The Three Little Pigs, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Cinderella, and then serves them with a mischievous twist. Well, Little Red Riding Hood becomes a meal for an unwelcome guest? Can Snow White the wrath of her evil stepmother? While the wolf blow pigs house down? How can Jack get past the giant and find the golden treasure? Who will Cinderella Marry? Narrator Wolf has all the answers, as well as a tale of his own to tell.

This beautifully animated adventure which is split into two parts features the voices of Rob Bryden, Bertie Carvel, Gamma Chan, Tamsin Greig, Isaac Hempstead Wright, Rose Leslie, Bel Powley, David Walliams, and Dominic West.
My Opinion: this was a very interest in a cartoon on nursery rhymes and was new and different which is good and unexpected twists which were a pleasant surprise.
