Disney Pixar’s Coco Review & Giveaway Ends 3/11


Out now on DVD, Blu-Ray, 4K Ultra HD on February 27, 2018, is Disney Pixar’s COCO which stars Anthony Gonzalez Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders) Benjamin Bratt ( Miss Congeniality),  Gael Garcia Bernal ( TV Series Mozart in the Jungle), Alanna Ubach (TV Series Puppy Dog Pals), Renee Victor (Weeds), Jaime Camil (TV Series Elena of Avalor). Directed by Lee Unkrich (“Toy Story 3”) and co-directed by Adrian Molina (story artist “Monsters University”) from a script by Molina and Matthew Aldrich (“Spinning Man”). 


Darla K. Anderson (“Toy Story 3”) produces, and John Lasseter is executive producer. “Coco” features an original score from Oscar-winning composer Michael Giacchino (“Up,” “Rogue One”), a song by Oscar winners Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez (“Frozen”), and additional songs co-written by Germaine Franco (“Dope,” “Shovel Buddies”) and Molina. Also part of the team is musical consultant Camilo Lara of the music project Mexican Institute of Sound, as well as cultural consultants Lalo Alcaraz, Marcela Davison Avilés and Octavio Solis.



 In Disney Pixar’s vibrant tale of family, fun, and adventure, an aspiring young musician named Miguel embarks on an extraordinary journey to the magical land of his ancestors. There, the charming trickster Hector becomes an unexpected friend who helps Miguel uncover the mysteries behind his family stories and traditions.

My Opinion: This is a great Disney Pixar film which I enjoyed with the bright, vibrate colors based on the day of the dead theme. Has a great storyline we all can relate to.
The bonus features on this Blu Ray are commentary, deleted scenes, paths to Pixar: Coco, the music of Coco and so many more.
