#HatNotHate Quick Knit Loom Kit Holiday Gift Guide 2020

This year, at-home crafting and DIY projects have vastly grown in popularity, and Shira Blumenthal, sewing & crafting expert, anti-bullying activist & founder of #HatNotHate can provide great crafting activities and tips to make the season memorable with “a very crafty Christmas” celebration.

She can also discuss the perfect gift to give back this holiday season! The new #HatNotHate Quick Knit Loom Kit from Faber-Castell USA, is an easy crafting project for anyone to make two blue hats, which they can keep, share, or donate to the #HatNotHate anti-bullying campaign. #HatNotHate collects homemade blue hats from around the globe to distribute to kids and students while educating them about bullying prevention. This year, they partnered with the LGBTQ youth empowerment charity The It Gets Better Project, and have collected more than 32,000 hats. Through 2021, the campaign’s goal is to collect 100,000 hats. Loom Kit How to video. SRP: $24.99

I was sent one for review  and each kit provides everything you need to make, wear, the #Hat not Hate movement share and accessorize two hats, including 180 yards of chunky blue Lion Brand Yarn, a reusable 9” loom, loom hook, tassel and pom-pom maker, two faux leather, #HATNOTHATE tags, and easy to follow instructions.

My Opinion: I have always wanted one of these as I heard it was the easiest way to learn to knit and I am so excited to try it and I realize I want to give this to my friend to knit as I am not very patient to thread a needle.
