Clear
Mind, Peaceful Heart 50 Devotions For Sleeping Well In A World Full Of Worry By
Lysa TerKeurst.
Hi Friend!
I can’t count how many times I’ve laid my head on my pillow ready to fall asleep, only to stare at the ceiling for hours. Tossing and turning because of situations I can’t fix. Mulling over my endless to-do lists. Fixating on worst-case scenarios that only leave me more anxious and afraid.
How can we sleep when there’s so much to worry about?
If you’ve had your own share of sleepless nights recently, I understand. But here’s what I’ve come to know: the kind of rest we desire won’t come from endlessly scrolling, binge-watching feel-good movies, taking more vacation days, or stuffing our feelings.
No, it’s Jesus Himself who provides rest to our weary souls.
While God may not always fix everything right away, we can fix our thoughts on the truths in His Word. So that’s why I’ve joined my fellow writers at Proverbs 31 Ministries to compile this book of devotions. By incorporating this book into your nightly routine, you’ll be reminded that the Lord is near. You are safe. You are loved. You are cared for. And with a clear mind and a peaceful heart, sweet dreams will be yours.
We may feel afraid, but we don't have to live afraid. Let this devotional help you fall asleep tonight with a clear mind and a peaceful heart. Order your copy of Clear Mind, Peaceful Heart today!

My Opinion: I have not been dealing with things the
way I should over the last week and reading day 4 I struggle with it as I am
irritable and impatient a lot and I try to be nice and not mean to people even
loved ones and I find it hard when I am stressed and my mental health trauma issues
kick in. I cried reading it as it reminds you that we are all flawed and loved
anyway.
This is a good reminder to submit worries to God!
