Disney Pixar ELIO

Clown In A Cornfield from RLJE Films & Shudder is out now, and I got to review it if you have not heard of it or seen my announcement post it's about Quinn (Katie Douglas) and her father (Aaron Abrams) have just moved to the quiet town of Kettle Springs, hoping for a fresh start. Instead, she discovers a fractured community that has fallen on hard times after the treasured Baypen Corn Syrup Factory burned down. As the locals bicker amongst themselves and tensions boil over, a sinister, grinning figure emerges from the cornfields to cleanse the town of its burdens, one bloody victim at a time. Welcome to Kettle Springs. The real fun starts when Frendo the clown comes out to play.

My Opinion: It is your typical horror movie for teens with a bit of comedy and the location being a country cornfield as a suitably sinister arena to play out the chases and sieges, while droll asides on the generation gap - such as Quinn's inability to use an old-school phone to get help - add sardonic flavor to the jester's gruesome game. It was scary, entertaining and as all horror movies I was scared while watching.
