Lovely Candy Co

The journey stated when Jackie asked her husband Mike to a quest for her favorite treat Licorice. Lovely Candy Co. has a variety of  Fruit Chews , Caramels and Licorice which are Gluten Free, Non-GMO ingredients. I got to try the Caramels original and chocolate swirls along with Fruit Chews Original and Super fruits. I recently have been dieting and eating better choices then in the recent past so having a nice fruit chew that is better for me then what I would normal each such as starburst is a better alternative. These candies are soft and I love them and can’t get enough and since the Cherry Licorice is new as of August 2013 I wonder what that tastes like? I bet just as soft and yummy! I defiantly recommend these to anyone looking for a candy alternative.  Visit www.lovelycandyco.com/ to learn more.

MaineRoot Pumpkin Pie Soda

I was recently at my local health food store any for this Maine Root soda and the flavor was Pumpkin Pie. I had to try it so I bought it and it was the last one on the shelf and I was unsure what flavors the soda would have but can I tell you that it had all the flavors you expect from a slice of Pumpkin Pie . It was orange in color with nutmeg and ginger flavors and it smelled just like it as well. This is Fair Trade Certified and Organic made with pure cane sugar and other ingredients. They offer a wide variety of flavors such as Blueberry, Maple Lemonade, Mexicane Cola, Lemon Lime, Root Beer and so much more. Now besides coming in a glass bottle you can get it in a tap if you are a business this is great addition. To learn more visit http://maineroot.com/ .

I recently was able to review Magic Straws I saw these at my local Wal-Mart and thought these are neat as they are a straws with little dippin’ dots inside and when you sip milk or any dairy type beverage through it I will turn your drink in to a tasty treat. They only have 17 calories and less sugar then your normal flavored milk or dairy beverage. I got to try a variety of flavors like Chocolate Candy Cane, Cinnamon Roll, Vanilla Milkshake and so many more flavors. If you purchase this product and it has the label

My Opinion: So I tried these Magic Straws and i have to say they are tasty and easy to use. Love the fact they are low in calories and 40% less sugar then leading brands and no mess to clean up.

Silver Sky Imports

I was recently given a Tibetan Singing Bowl to review from Silver Sky Imports and I have to say it is a very unusual piece and the color blue with gold markings. I have never heard of or seen one of these products before so it is a neat experience, I was glad it came with instructions as if it did not I would not know how to play this and it really takes precision to play it and I have yet to master it. This came with a striker tool and cushion I think just being on display will be enough to talk about when I have guests over and a great conversation piece. Visit http://www.silverskyimports.com/products/sales-and-specials/blue-cast-tibetan-singing-bowl-4/ to learn more and hear a sample of what it sounds like.   Silver Sky Import also has Yoga Accessories, Himalayan salt Lamps, Prayer Flags and so much more.

LoSalt Review and Giveaway

Have you recently found you had high blood pressure or heart issues and need to lower your salt intake but really enjoy the salty flavor sometimes? I was able to review LoSalt which is a salt alternative with 66% less sodium then the normal salt so you can still have the salty flavor you enjoy as it still tastes like salt. I know how hard it is to break bad habits and try something new I was always told start new habits and the old will just be replaced and that is true. In my family tree there are histories of heart problems so making this change will be good for me. To learn more visit www.losalt.com . Did you know the recommended daily salt intake is 5G which can be in any foods you eat.

My Opinion: I love it just as much as regular salt and can be used in any recipes or topped any foods you eat. This is as good healthy alternative and less sodium in my diet.
