September is mushroom Month
Did you know September is National Mushroom Month? I did not know this either and I have to say I love mushrooms. I eat them on pizza, stir-fry, salads and baked stuffed mushrooms as well. These vegetables are low in fat and calories and compliment any meal. Some nutritional benefits of mushrooms are Calcium, Vitamin D, Niacin, Selenium, Riboflavin, Potassium, Ergothionene and more.
