Crocodali By Lucy Volpin

Crocodali By Lucy Volpin from Little Bee Books. I am Crocodali, the most talented painter in the whole wide world. And you are in my studio! In this interactive picture book, you can help Crocodali create a masterpiece! Roll up your sleeves and get involved as you tilt, turn, and shake the book in this laugh out loud  story. Be sure to do exactly what Crocodali tells you. What could possibly go wrong?
My Opinion: this is a great book for kids because they can use this interactive book and make a masterpiece and follow what Crocodali tells them to do by moving the book around to the right or to the left. The illustrations in this book are beautiful and it’s easy reading for kids.

Ellie the Wienerdog It’s Hard to Swim by K.J. Hales and illustrated by Serene Wyatt from Open Door Press this is the second book and Life’s Little Lesson series. Romping on dry ground and chasing a ball are the activities Ellie believes dogs are built to do. Footloose Music & Lyrics By Kenny Loggins & Dean Pitchford Illustrations By Tim Bowers

Time to cut loose! Have a rockin' time introducing children to the fun of Footloose, rewritten for children by the one and only Kenny Loggins. As a zookeeper named Jack joins the zoo animals in an all-night dance party, this new original story from Loggins is sure to get your feet moving. Little ones will love the cast of characters, including the rockin' chimp Louise ("Geez, Louise"), Mister DJ Elephant, the lemur Marie ("Oo Wee, Marie"), Milo the wombat, Luke the funkiest cat in the zoo, and so many more rocking, bopping, boogying, tangoing, shaking, rattling and rolling animals! To add to the fun, the book includes a CD with new recordings by Kenny Loggins.

Kids and parents can sing along to the classic hit with new lyrics, as well as a three-song medley families will love.
My Opinion: The book was very cute and beautifully illustrated kids and adults alike will enjoy reading this. I remember the original Footloose which was a great song in the 80’s.
You can also host a Footloose Dance Party download the activity kit on the page

Planet Pop-Up Tiger Takes Off By Jonathan Litton

Silver Dolphin Books recently sent me great books for kids called Planet Pop-Up Tiger Takes Off by Jonathan Litton and illustrated by Nicola Anderson. The fun-loving animals of Tiger Takes Off are putting on a spectacularly wild circus performance in this rhyming pop-up book. Open up the pages to discover a fearless flying tiger, a roller-skating octopus, and other acrobatic performers under the big top! The animals’ antics will bring smiles to the faces of young readers, and the colorful, high-quality interactive pop-ups with moving elements will entertain for hours on end.

My Opinion: I found this to be a great book for all kids with the bright pop-up pictures inside and an easy read.
