Over the past month, I have been reviewing the Kyocera Hydro Reach from Boost Mobile. The Kyocera Hydro Reach is water-resistant (IP57-certified), and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. Powered by a quad-core 1.1 GHz Snapdragon 210 processor, the Kyocera Hydro Reach features a 5-inch display with 540 x 960 pixels, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of expandable storable space, 5Mp rear camera, 2MP front-facing camera Wi-Fi hotspot, 3G/4G LTE, 2160 mAh non-removable battery.
My Opinion: I found it worked well at making phone calls and I did not notice any dropped calls. I downloaded apps and it worked well and very fast as expected for my area. I scanned receipts and it worked fine. I found the camera was a bit sensitive to my touch so I had to readjust it. The pictures and images were clear and very easy to see and larger than my current phone which I liked. The battery does need improvement as it dries quickly but it could just be I have to turn the apps off along with other things which I have now done and it is much better.
