Ideal publications sent me a book called The
Berenstain Bears Please & Thank-You by Mike Berenstain I use to watch these
on TV in the 80’s. I know some kids that could use help with manners and I feel
this would be great to give them to subtly let them know how to improve without
offending the parents or kids themselves. This book shows how Mama is shocked
at the cubs’ lack of manners as they each demand a cookie. Through gentle
reminders and polite behavior from Mama and Papa, the cubs soon remember the
importance of good manners. With a simple story and well-loved characters; The
Berenstain Bears Please & Thank-You book provides a perfect introduction to
this valuable life lesson.
My Opinion: I really enjoyed this book and will be
sharing this with some young nieces to help guide them to polite manners that
may be lacking in their own life and who else then the beloved Berenstain Bears
to tell the story as I can share a childhood favorite with them and show more about them.
