This movie is written and directed by Jeff Ferrell and stars Jeffrey Arrington (Vicious), Brian Sutherland (Fat Kids Rule the World), Meagan Karimi-Naser (Job Hunters), Michael Joseph Draper (Grimm) and Aurelio Voltaire (ABCs of Death 2). In Dead West, a charismatic outlaw sets out on a murderous cross-country trip urging for true love. Each time he thinks he has found “the one” he ends up disappointed and she ends up dead. Manage and to elude capture by traveling from one town to the next, his luck runs out when Tony, the brother of one of his victims, tracks him down. Suddenly the hunter becomes the hunted as Tony seeks revenge by enforcing his own brand of vigilante justice.

My Opinion: this was a very good action adventure Western that kept me on the edge of my seat and Making me wonder when I was watching it why girls always end up dead that he’s attracted to.

Anchor Bay Films will be releasing The Possession of Michael King on DVD, iTunes, On Demand and Blu-Ray Combo Pack on August 26, 2014 this movie is directed by David Jung; this movie stars Shane Johnson (STARZ Power), Dale Dickey (Iron Man 3), Julie McNiven (TV’s Supernatural) and Tomas Arana (Guardians of the Galaxy). This movie is about a documentary of film maker Michael King who doesn’t believe in God or the Devil. Following the sudden death of his wife, Michael decides to make his next film about the search for the existence of the supernatural, making himself the center of the experiment allowing demonologists, necromancers and various practitioners of the occult to try the deepest and darkest spells and rituals they can find on him, in hopes they fail he’ll once and for all have proof that religion, spiritualism and the paranormal are nothing more than a myth. But something happens and an evil horrifying force has taken over Michael King’s body and will not let him go.

My Opinion: This movie was very creepy from a documentary point of view and the whole time i was watching it i was wondering why this demon was so twisted and the ended was not what i expected but understood why he did what he did. I had to wait an hour after watching before goign to bed as it was freaky.

In The Blood

June 3, 2014 from Anchor Bay Films on Blu-Ray and DVD Combo pack comes In the Blood. This movie is directed by John Stockwell who also directed Blue Crush and Turistas and stars Gina Carano (Fast & Furious 6 and Haywire), Cam Gigandet (Twilight), Luis Guzman (We’re the Millers, The Taking of Pelham 1,2,3), Amaury Nolasco (TV’s Prison Break, Rum Diaries), Ismael Cruz Cordova (TV’s The Good Wife), Treat Williams (TV’s Chicago Fire), Stephen Lang (Avatar) and Danny Trejo (Machete).

This movie is an action packer thriller and runs 108 minutes; Ava is a trained fighter with a dark past. When her new husband vanishes during their Caribbean honeymoon, Ava uncovers a underworld that is violent with conspiracies right in the middle of the island. The only weapon she has is her deadly set of skills, Ava sets out to discover the truth and to take down the men she thinks are responsible for his abduction and one by one they go down.

My Opinion: This movie was very interesting and with all the action I was on the edge of my seat wondering will she ever find him? The violence and scenes with fighting may not be suited for young kids that are at the parent’s discretion.

The Invoking

Being released on DVD, Digital Download and Video On Demand  on February 18,2014 from RLJ Entertainment and Image Entertainment come The Invoking. This is directed by Jeremy Berg and stars Trin Miller (The Dead Man, The Gamers: Natural One), Brandon Anthony (Fallout 3), Josh Truax (Echoes, Depth) and D’Angelo Midili (Brothers, 7 minutes).
This movie is about Samantha Harris who inherits a house from a family she never knew. She and three of her friends head to Sader Ridge to inspect the property. Soon after arriving Sam begins to experience horrific visions of savage brutality and unspeakable evil. Plagued by a sinister force closing in around her Sam descends into a waking nightmare when the demons from her past refuse to stay buried any longer.

My Opinion: This movie was more of a Thriller then a Horror and I had a hard time following the story line. The production was also low budget made which you can tell. It never got me to a point I was excited mostly confused.

Mischief Nights

From Image Entertainment and RLJ Entertainment comes Mischief Nights which is directed by Richard Schenkman comes Mischief Nights which stars Noell Coet ( Brother’s Keeper) , Daniel Hugh Kelly (TV’s Hardcastle and McCormick), Charlie O’Connell (Unlucky Charms), Erica Leerhsen (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre),Stephanie Erb (The Ring) and  Ally Walker(April Rain) . This movie is Available on December 17, 2013 on DVD and Digital Download. Mischief Nights is about Emily Walton, who has suffered from psychosomatic blindness ever since the car accident that took her mother's life, must summon every instinct at her disposal to protect herself and her loved ones from a mysterious intruder the night before Halloween.

This is a Horror/Thriller and will keep you glued to the edge of your seat if you are like me and all the blood and gore from this mysterious intruder. This is 86 minutes long so will there be a sequel? I always wonder about that after ever horror movie as they tend to leave you wondering what happened.
