SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2 is directed by Jeff Fowler, screenplay by Pat Casey & Josh Miller and John Whittington with a story by Pat Casey & Josh Miller. The film is produced by Neal H. Stars Ben Schwartz, Jim Carrey, Idris Elba, Colleen O' Shaughnessey.

After settling in Green Hills, Sonic is eager to prove he has what it takes to be a true hero. His test comes when Dr. Robotnik returns, this time with a new partner, Knuckles, in search of an emerald that has the power to destroy civilizations. Sonic teams up with his own sidekick, Tails and together they embark on a globe-trotting journey to find the emerald before it falls into the wrong hands.

My Opinion: This movie is so good! It was way better than the first one and just about everything I ever hoped for in a Sonic movie! The movie is a love letter to Sonic fans of all generations, while still being fun for more casual viewers! While the first movie was good, it was missing most of the elements and lore from the game series, but the sequel completely corrects that.
