Daily's Cocktails Review & Giveaway

I recently was giving the opportunity to Review Daily’s Cocktails. I went to my local Wal-Mart and they offered a few different varieties. I got 2 Strawberry Daiquiri’s, 1 Peach and 1 Lemonade pouch. They are only $1.88 each! That is a great price. So I had never heard of Daily’s until recently I was flipping through a magazine and there it was. These come in pouches which you put in the freezer and enjoy.

My Reaction to Daily’s Cocktails:What a yummy flavor. I love this Strawberry Daiquiri but i better have just one i have work in the morning.  

Image you sitting on the beach the breeze blowing through your hair and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore what a perfect day and to top it off you have a cup of Daily’s Cocktail in your hand. Oh the feeling of relaxing on the beach and the warmth from the sun. what an image I have in my head! To hang onto summer just a bit longer you need to have a cook out with all your friends and have some cocktails on hand to quench your thirst and theirs or you can just go to the beach and enjoy as well which every your heart desires How do you Savor Summer? Glade Expressions

I received as part of a Bzz Agent Campaign Glade Expressions Starter Kit for Fragrance Mist and Oil Diffuser. I had a hard time finding these in my state I went to Wal-Mart where they were sold out and Walgreens which offers only one choice. The scent it comes in is Pineapple and Mangosteen, Lavender and Juniper Berry, Cotton and Italian Mandarin; New Fuji Apple & Cardamom Spice. I bought the oil diffuser Lavender and Juniper Berry I put this in the living room to make it smell better instead of stale and the scent is very strong and lasts. I got the Pineapple and Mangosteen Fragrance mist which helps cover odors and lasts for a short amount of time, I love the scent of it makes me feel tropical. It took me a few minutes to realize home to spray it. Thomas Bagels

I do not know about you but I love to have a bagel with cream cheese at least a few times a week if I can. I recently received coupons in the mail to try Thomas Bagels which I have tried them before and ended up purchasing the Cinnamon Raisin Bagels. I love the smell of cinnamon and this time of the especially with fall in the air. I make a bagel sandwich which had eggs, turkey bacon and cheese it was so yummy!  You should try it I also spread strawberry cream cheese on one as well and this was just as tasty. The last thing I tried was with Honey Butter that was also yummy! It you have never tried Thomas Bagels give them a try. They also have English muffins if you prefer them and if you are worried about to many carbs they have bagel thins you can try. DaVinci Gourmet

I received in the mail as part of a product review DaVinci Gourmet syrups. The flavors I got were Sugar Free Raspberry, Classic Hazelnut, Classic Vanilla. Zero Calorie White Chocolate and Zero Calorie Caramel Syrup. These can be used in coffees, Lattes and Italian Sodas. I was excited when I got these and could not wait to try them as it is starting to become cooler and will be perfect for my lattes I like to drink in the fall and winter months. I tried the Hazelnut and it gave me drink a nutty flavor. I went to their website http://www.davincigourmet.com/ and checked out all their syrups as the offer a wide variety and the prices are reasonable. They also have a recipe section were you can try different things with the syrups besides drinks they have desserts and entrees, what a great idea! Try them today and see which your favorite flavor is. I really enjoyed the flavors in my drink and can’t wait to have friends over to try them out and find out their opinion. I have to share this recipe from their website it is:
Blackberry Blondies with Caramel Icing
Ingredients
1 tablespoon DaVinci Gourmet Caramel Classic Syrup
1/4 cup DaVinci Gourmet Blackberry Classic Syrup
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup blackberry jam
2 tablespoons grated lemon rind
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons butter
1 1/4 cup confectioner's sugar, sifted
2 tablespoons cream
1 1/4 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 pound (1 stick) butter, softened
1 large egg
1/2 cup granulated sugar
Directions

Caramel Icing
Heat butter in saucepan until it is a light brown color. Remove from heat. Add syrup, cream and sugar to the saucepan. Mix and frost blondies.

Blondies
Preheat oven to 350°F. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside. In a large bowl combine butter, egg, and sugar until well blended. Stir in syrup and flour mixture. Add nuts and spread 1/2 dough into 9 inch square pan. Mix blackberry jam with lemon rind and lemon juice. Drop jam mixture in six places over the dough. Carefully spread the remaining dough on top. With a knife, swirl through the dough in two directions, making a ribbon design. Bake for 30 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Frost with caramel icing after cooling.

Yield 2 dozen bar cookies

Turkey Hill

I recently went to my local supermarket with coupons in hand from Turkey Hill (Thank-You) and I purchased their Banana Split ice cream which has chocolate ice with walnuts, banana ice cream with a fudge swirl and strawberry ice cream. I really loved it, I have never tried it before but it was very yummy. I am not a big fan of chocolate ice cream so I left that for my husband. They have so many flavors and variety of ice cream but here are a few Peanut Butter Ripple, Neapolitan and Black Raspberry. Besides ice cream I got the Lemonade with Lemon flavor, I have had the half tea and half lemonade before and enjoyed it and I really liked this as well it was just the right sweetness for me which is great. When Hope Blossoms By Kim Vogel Sawyer

I received in the mail as part of review from Bethany Publishing Where Hope Blossoms by Kim Vogel Sawyer It follows a widower named Amy and her 3 children. She moves to a small town of Weaverly, Kansas from Ohio and starts over. She has a neighbor named Tim Roper who left the Mennonite life and lost him wife and son. I hate to give away too much of the book so I will not say much more except it is a must read and just came out. I loved the book and it is a feel good book and I wish that people would treat each one like in this book with care and respect.
