I live where there is hard water and I am spending at least ten dollars a week for bottled water so I was looking for an alternative to save money in these economy times. I recently discovered ZeroWater 12 Cup Pitcher which 100% BPA Free. The underneath water filter assembly ensures waster passes through the filter and not around the filter. My Opinion: This pitcher does work very well at making the water taste better as before I was afraid to drink it due to being hard and smelly now it is better and I can save some money on water now.

Wild Kratts Australian Adventure

“Wild Kratts: Australian Adventure” will be available on DVD January 5, 2016. The DVD run time is approximately 60 minutes and its SRP is $12.99.

In the first two episodes on this DVD, the Kratt Brothers explore the Australian Outback. In “Koala Balloon,” the brothers find a stranded koala in the desert. In order to help the koala the brothers work to get their new friend back to its eucalyptus forest habitat. In “Kickin’ it with the Roos,” the brothers are motoring through the Australian Outback in the createrra looking for red kangaroos. When the brothers finally locate a mob of red kangaroos, they run into trouble when the keys to the createrra are stolen by a joey. This episode also features two fascinating birds a kookaburra and a wedge-tailed eagle!

In the bonus episode on this DVD “Platypus Café” the brothers learn about one of the most unusual animals in the world the duck-billed platypus. In order to get to know this creature, Martin and Chris use the miniaturizer to shrink and enter a platypus burrow.

My Opinion: This is a great PBS DVD and teaches kids about Australian and all the animals along the way. What a fun and crazy adventure Wild Kratts go on. I also enjoyed the min koala stuffed animal to go along with the video.

I found a great eco-friendly jewelry company called Green Tree Jewelry they make so many items out of wood that are really cute to wear. I got a few items that I wanted to share with you today and they are Gingerbread Men earrings in brown that are  is an iconic Gingerbread Man, It screams I'm festive! Its Christmas time! Or anytime of the year you can wear these. Made in the USA, the size of the earrings is 0.88" x 1.15", made from sustainably sourced wood and 90% recycled display cards. Laser-cut wood that is extremely lightweight stained with water based dye, Ear wires are silver-finished 304L stainless steel, hypoallergenic, and enhanced with a new, smooth and consistent electrophoretic coating that resists tarnishing.

Little Hoot Owl Ornament there is about 220 species of owls and there are only 19 different species in North America. It is made from sustainably sourced wood and 90% recycled display cards, laser cut and stained with water based dye. The size of the ornament is 2.1 “x 2.5”.

Snowflake Earrings and did you know snowflakes have six sides? The earrings are laser cut and stained with a water based dye the ear wires are silver-finished 304L stainless steel, hypoallergenic, and enhanced with a new, smooth and consistent electrophoretic coating that resists tarnishing. The earrings are the size is 1.5” x 1.4”.

My Opinion: I really love the earrings and ornament I got to review as they are made with such care not to mention the detail that went into making them. I will have these for years to come and when they finally wear out they can be recycled as they are made from wood.

Happy New Year 2016

Another year has come and gone and i want to wish you my reader's a Happy New Year ! Do you have any goals you plan to set for this year? I do but i always do some  and others i don't but recently i have felt i need to keep these goals this time.

1. I need to desperately lose weight i can lose 5-10 pounds with focus and then some reason i give up and go back to my old ways.

2. I need to finish my schooling to become a Medical Assistant i have since decided i do not want to go further into the medical field except being a receptionist so maybe at least i can get the certificate and maybe not do the rounds to get my license.

3. I lost my job last July and have yet to find another one at this point and i hope to soon as my unemployment benefits run out in 3 weeks. I have had interviews but nothing definite yet.

4. I would like to grow my blog more as it is staring to get where i want it to be. I need more affiliate clicks where i can make some money monthly.

Those are some of my 2016 goals!  The Year of The Monkey in Chinese Zodiac if that is your sign then it is your year!
