My Opinion: The scent is rather strong and I saw it does detangle well and makes my hair shiny. I still have to wash it daily as it gets oily for me.

Fabulously Fresh Purex Crystals Limited Edition Review and Giveaway

With today being the first day of spring so is the anticipated arrival of the new limited edition Purex Fabulously Fresh Crystals. I could not wait to try these as I had laundry to do and I like the smell of lilies and spring in general. But you would not know it was spring here with all the snow that fell last night so I am happy to stay indoors and creat my own spring escape. I have hard water were I live and at times it can be smelly and I do not know why so I  like to use these  crystals on towels and clothes I wear daily as I like the feeling of being fresh and clean. Private Reserve Rib Crown Steaks

Omaha Steaks sent me four 7 oz. steaks called Private Reserve Rib Crown to review and when I saw them I thought man I wish my grill was not buried in snow as they would taste so great on the grill. But then I thought how do I want to prepare these? Broiled in the oven? Wrap with bacon? Or pan fried on low heat? These steaks are from the Private Reserve so that means it is carved from the most tender part of the rib eye with the tenderness of a filet mignon. These are also less fat and less calories.

My Opinion:These steaks are so juicy and tender as it was cooking i was afraid it was going to be dry and then it took my by total surprise with it being tender and juicy- the best steak i have ever had!

Here is a simple recipe with a Rich Balsamic Glaze 

INGREDIENTS:

2 (4 ounce) filet mignon steaks 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper to taste

salt to taste 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar 1/4 cup dry red wine

DIRECTIONS:

1.	Sprinkle freshly ground pepper over both sides of each steak, and sprinkle with salt to taste.
2.	Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Place steaks in hot pan, and cook for 1 minute on each side, or until browned. Reduce heat to medium-low, and add balsamic vinegar and red wine. Cover, and cook for 4 minutes on each side, basting with sauce when you turn the meat over.
3.	Remove steaks to two warmed plates, spoon one tablespoon of glaze over each, and serve immediately.

Angels in Stardust

Coming to DVD on March 25, 2014 from ARC Entertainment is Angels in Stardust this movie was written and directed by William Robert Carey. This movie stars Alicia Silverstone (Clueless), AJ Michalka (Super8) and Billy Burke (Twilight Movies).

This movie follows Vallie Sue who is a young teenager with big dreams; lives in a desolate and gritty little town which is built on the site of an old drive in. The townspeople and even her own mother barely pay any attention to her and finding company from a mystical cowboy and a former enemy. With their help she finds the courage and strength to reach her potential without losing her heart.

My Opinion: I really love the story this movie tells along with the strength and peace you find from others. Being young you go through growing pains and without the parent’s support you could end up with the wrong crowd.
