A Letter for Every Mother By Kara Lawler and Regan Long from Hachette Book Group. This book is for every mother whether you’re a new mother, a seasoned mother, a grandmother, or a foster mother. In this book, Kara Lawler and Regan Long have written a heartwarming compilation of letters addressed to mothers from all walks of life, meant to celebrate, inspire, and encourage mothers through all stages of the parenting journey. Mom, you’re not alone. And in these pages you’ll find friends to walk with you through the accelerating and exhaustion, the sweet and the terrible, and the oh so wonderful joy of holding your children close. One letter I’m going to read you is called to every mother who has gone crazy: my kids drive me crazy. Does that make me a bad parent? About to have my fourth baby, I realized that it took me years to find the courage to say it out loud, but they do they can drive me mad.
In the grueling schedule of a mommy duty 24 hours a day, 365 days a year can be, well I need a new word for exhausting. That is just part of it but there is more to it and I’m sure every mom could relate.
My Opinion: I really learned a lot from this book not because mom is I honestly don’t have any kids of my own at this point in my life but because it makes me relate to what my parents went through and/or my sisters who have multiple kids.
