Out now is the movie TRAFFICKED which stars Sophie Bolen (The Horse Dancer, Rodeo Girl), Kristy Swanson (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Mark Boyd (12 Monkeys), and Dean Cain (Lois and Clark). This is the story of Allison Riley a beautiful young girl with a bright future and a dream of becoming a veterinarian. On the eve of her 16th birthday, she sneaks out of her house to meet a handsome boy she met online and disappears. Her parents Joanna and Case contact the police who assume that Allison is just out with a boyfriend.
My Opinion: This is an issue that is horrifying but needs to be told as you need to understand this is happening and we should not ignore it. You need to let your children know what to do if they are in a situation that requires them to defend themselves and if they are how to overcome it. It was touching, real, raw, and makes you think about the world we live in. Make sure if you know someone that this is happening to you say something and not ignore it.

sheer horror. as the parent of a teen in todays digital age, it is my worst fear especially since it has happened in my city and they have found kids being trafficked at a local hotel
