 The Fifth Set Black Premium Tennis Shorts are designed specifically for tennis.  Light, comfortable and the perfect fit.  Built to handle those tough, grueling matches where the sweat is pouring out of you. With patented SweatRoute Technology. Pockets are dual-layered, with a waterproof membrane on the inside, and a breathable material on the outside. This protects the tennis balls inside the pocket from sweat while keeping the player's legs comfortable throughout the match.

The pocket is heat-sealed with an adhesive at a specific temperature and pressure to ensure no moisture can penetrate the interface. Traditional methods of stitching the interface may compromise the waterproof nature due to the series of puncture holes made in the material. The outside body of the shorts has a hydrophobic surface that repels water.

 Any moisture making contact immediately beads and rolls off, leaving the outside of the shorts completely dry. The pocket stays closed at rest but is not sealed. This makes the pockets easy to slide tennis balls in and out of, while still providing protection from moisture dripping down the outside. The pocket opening edge has a raised, waterproof vein all the way around.  This design element routes moisture dripping down the sides of the shorts around the pocket further preventing any moisture from entering the pockets.

 My Opinion: These are lightweight and keep you dry when you sweat or in extreme heat and humidity. They also keep the tennis ball dry in your pocket as well.
