Pass The Pigs Pig Party
I recently got to review a family game called Pass
the Pigs: Pig Party for ages 7+ and 2-4 players can I tell you I have never
played this before and it is so much
fun. How it works is you roll your pigs against other players and be the first
to match your pigs to the picture that was drawn from the deck of cards. If you
match on the first try you and earn a bonus roll with all eight pigs. Bonus
point cards really add to your score; look out for the dreaded “Pig Out” and
don’t roll an “Oinker”. Be the first player to rack up 100 points and you’ll
win. The contents are eight pigs, deck
of 30 pig roll, bonus and point cards, zippered carrying case and illustrated
instructions.
My Opinion: I found this game to be so much fun and
love the pig colors of orange, blue, pink and green so cute! I loved tossing
the pigs around but I came in second place. Great family time together was had
by all.

Rubik's Void
If you have ever used a Rubik’s cube then you will
like to know Winning Moves has one out called Rubik’s The Void Puzzle which is
based on the original but an extra challenge to solving the puzzle as the is a
hole where there should be a middle. The Void is amazing to see, to touch and
to contemplate. Its movement is more magical than any other puzzle of its kind.
Scramble The Void’s vibrant rings then try to restore a solid colored ring on
each side. Doing so is a feat of cosmic proportion.
My Opinion: I was never good at Rubik’s cube the
original version so this one was a challenge but it is good to use your brain
to figure out how make the colors of blue, pink, orange, green and yellow .
Rubik’s The Void puzzle is a 2012 winner of Parents
best toy.

Fish Fish Squish
New from Winning Moves is a great family board game
called Fish Fish Squish. The object of the game is to be the last fish standing
by creating three in a row where you will be awarded a free squish of any of
your opponent’s fish. This game contains a deck of 54 colorful fish, 4
re-sealable bags with safe molding dough, 4 plastic fish molds and 4 player
mats. This is for ages 5 and up with 2-4 players and can run 15-30 minutes
long.
My Opinion: This is such a fun game and being I can
play with the whole family is awesome as once a week this is important for your
child’s growth and development. Not to
mention teaching them about winning and losing how to handle it. The fish are
easy to make and the dough is kept safe from drying out in the bags but if they
ever do dry out you can just buy more dough like play doh at the store.
