After reading this book and realizing that Tia is so much like other families, where they may be embarrassed by their mother, father, brother or sister I know I was when I was a teen as I was trying to fit in and thought my family is a mess with mental illness, drug addiction but now I am not embarrassed as I love my family unconditionally and through faith anything is possible. This book has inspired me to remember life is not all rainbows and the sunshine, that we must experiences things to become stronger and learn. I think of it as going to school every day even though we graduated high school and college we still learn every day.
