Grab The Gold

With trying to eat healthier I am on the search for something new and I found Grab the Gold which is protein packed with chocolate, peanut butter and a no-bake cookie taste. Kidecals Back To School Labeling

Back to school is upon us and Kidecals has so many label options for that purpose; I got a few products to review and they are keycals rainbow which is custom keyboard stickers that you peel and apply to the keyboard and you have a beautiful rainbow pattern. The other item I got was Chalkboard Labels Cloud II and yes these are cloud shaped perfect to label anything as you can reuse them and erase with chalk then apply again with chalk; I think these are perfect for canning and any mason jar for supplies and more.

Snuggle Scent Boosters Lavender Joy

I recently got to review Snuggle Scent Boosters Lavender Joy scent as part of the Snuggle Community and I was ecstatic as I remember as a child the commercials of the Snuggle bear looking all cute and cuddly in the commercials and still there now. These scent boosters are a convenient concentrated scent pac that you just toss in your wash for long lasting fresh scent. I have hard water where I live so I sometimes get a sour smell on my towels so I tossed one of these in my wash and they smell great with the scent still their days later I am so impressed as other products do not leave a scent this long on clothes.  Lavender is my favorite scent as it has relaxing properties to it and with my stressful life these are needed greatly.  To learn more visit http://www.snuggle.com/

The Holiday Season will be upon us before you know it and i am taken submissions for my annual Holiday Gift Guide which includes gifts for ever category Kids, Men, Women, Pets and more.

Blueberry Biscuits

These are the only biscuits i could ever make that came out even close to looking like a biscuit.

For the biscuits: 

2 Cups Flour 
1 Cup milk (or buttermilk)
1/3 Cup sugar
5 T of butter
4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
3 oz of blueberries (fresh or dried)

For the glaze: 

1 Cup of powdered sugar
1/8 Cup of water
1 tsp of vanilla
½ tsp of lemon juice 

**My biscuits above has no glaze **
Directions: Freeze butter. Preheat oven to 450F. Mix salt, sugar, flour, and baking powder in a bowl and sift. Add the cold milk into dry ingredients and mix. As dough begins to form, use a cheese grater to grate your frozen butter evenly over dough. Fold dough, and knead… repeat until all butter is spread evenly throughout dough. (If dough is too sticky to handle, add 1/4 Cup flour.)
Fold in the blueberries. Gently pull of chunks of dough and pat to form biscuits. Place on un-greased cookie sheet or cake pan. (Or spoon into muffin tins!)
Place in oven and bake for about 7-12 minutes (until golden). Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in the microwave, and paint finished biscuits with pastry brush. Mix glaze ingredients in a bowl, and drizzle over BoBerry Biscuits with a fork.

I recently got to review Onno Textiles they make shirts in bulk for any occasion or for retailers to have in stock. I got three shirts to review Men’s Hemp T-Shirt which is made with 55% hemp, 45% organic cotton this shirt is soft and will stay soft with each wash.  Some features of this shirt is blocking UV rays, antimicrobial and wicks moisture. The other two shirts are Women’s Bamboo in the colors Green and Stone again made with 70% viscose from organic bamboo, 30% organic cotton again a snugger fit. This shirt is so soft feeling like a blend of cotton and cashmere that will make people want to touch you.

My Opinion: My husband loved the material of the black shirt as it will be perfect for fall and cooler months. The feel on the skin is amazing. The Women’s shirts I thought would fit me better being a size 3XL but snug fitting so I will need to lose some weight before I wear them but the material is not stiff like some shirts can be and very flexible, soft to the touch.
