Graeter's Ice Cream Holiday Gift Guide 2016

Using a French Pot process to make an ice cream which makes it creamy, delicious melting in your mouth that is Graeter’s. All ingredients are pasteurized, cooked and combined in the flavor vat. The rich mixture is ready to be frozen in 2 ½ gallon batches in a historic process that has been part of the Graeter’s ice cream for over a century. Huge gourmet chocolate chips chunks get poured over the now creamy ice cream leave and an incredible delicious shell of chocolate. Graeter’s skilled artisans break this up and make it into the ice cream, resulted in totally unique and one-of-a-kind chunks of chocolate chips. Then the ice cream is hand packed when it’s ready from the French Pot as its way too thick to pump into Pint containers like most ice cream makers. The only solution is an old fashion one, roll up your sleeves put on some gloves and get to packing. Did you know they hand packed nearly 20,000 pints a day? I was recently going to my local Whole Foods store which is the only place near me that sells Graeter’s ice cream and I found four wonderful flavors which are Double Chocolate Chip with a decadent duet of Dutch cocoa powder and their gourmet bittersweet chocolate chips will satisfy even the most demanding chocoholic. Handcrafted, French Pot ice cream that is irresistibly good!  Mocha Chocolate Chip is made with a proprietary blend of dark roasted Colombian and Sumatran Arabica coffee beans, mixed with fresh sweet cream then made sublime with the addition of gourmet bittersweet chocolate. Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip this is Graeter’s signature flavor, made with black raspberries from Oregon’s Willamette Valley and their gourmet bittersweet chocolate chips. Indulge and enjoy!

Original Salted Caramel this is one of Graeter’s original flavors that was first made over a century ago, and still, do by cooking brown sugar and cream with a pinch of salt.
My Opinion: this is great ice cream you can tell that it is made with fine ingredients my husband ate the double chocolate chip and mocha chocolate chip in one day. I really enjoy the flavor of the original salted Caramel and put a scoop of it on my Apple crisp Yum! And of course black raspberry chocolate chip is a classic and I love black raspberry anyways so perfect. These are great for this holiday season to serve at your Thanksgiving dinner or Christmas dinner.
