Being released on February 25, 2014 from Phase 4 Films and XLrator Media is Jamesy Boy this movie is based on true events and directed by Trevor White and stars an amazing cast which are James Woods (White House Down, Casino), Mary-Louise Parker (TV’s Weeds, Fried Green Tomatoes), Ving Rhames (Pulp Fiction, Mission Impossible), Taissa Farmiga (The Bling Ring, TV”s American Horror Story), Taboo (Black Eyed Peas) and introducing Spencer Lofranco (Unbroken, At Middleton).
This movie is about a teenage named James Burns who goes from a suburban street gang to maximum security prison cell surrounded by hardened criminals. He forms an unlikely friendship with a convicted murderer and turns his life around as he is looking up to his new found friend.
My Opinion: I liked the story line and the movie as you see this happen every day when will kids learn that violence is not the answer? When will parents step in and try to give their child all the right tools to make better choices? I realize kids from all backgrounds are affected the question is how to we help our youth? This movie is moving and touches the heart. It makes me want to help all the kids to not make the wrong choices but I know they need to decide for themselves.
