As you know by reading my blog I am a movie buff and lately it has been a mixture for categories. RLJ Entertainment and Image Entertainment will be releasing Varsity Blood on August 19, 2014 on DVD; yes the name says it all a horror running 97 minutes and taken place during football season Hogeye High Warrior’s and cheerleaders are out for blood. Unfortunately someone is out for theirs and they’ll be forced to take one for the team. After the big Halloween football match, the students are joined by an uninvited guest dressed as their high school mascot armed with a bow and arrow, a battle-axe, and an insatiable appetite for butchery. Soon, they find themselves fighting for more than the winning score as terror becomes the name of the game. This movie stars Lexi Giovangnoli ( 1 Chance 2 dance 3 times a charm), Wesley Scott (Deep in the Heart), Debbie Rochon (Tromeo and Juliet), Natalie Peyton ( Over Easy), Blair Jackson (Inside out) and Elyse Bigler (Bigfoot Wars). This movie is written and directed by Jake Helgren (Finding Mr. Right and Bloody Homecoming).
My Opinion: This is a good horror movie and i was on the edge of my seat and yelling at the screen to not run as it is a horror movie cliche and the ending was not what i expected. Great movie
