Spring is here and now it is time to start thinking about warmer weather and how could we forget the day of Easter which means to me- family time and I usually must bring a dessert to Easter dinner. This year, I decided to go with an easy and hassle free dessert from Krusteaz. Krusteaz has some great mixes which include cookies and bars. One choice is Double Peanut Butter which is made with creamy peanut butter and peanut butter chips to make it twice as nice and delicious of course. Butter Vanilla Sugar Cookie which are bakery style and perfect for any time of the year or any holiday.
Key Lime Bar have a sweet-tart filling and a tender shortbread crust makes his bars a home run anytime anywhere. Meyer Lemon Bar has a sweet and tangy filling and a light, crumbly shortbread crust.
My Opinion: I loved all the bars and cookies I was sent. I was actually successful at making the Key Lime Bars crust layer without it coming out sloppy which I always do so I was impressed. The Double Peanut Butter cookies were good and went fast. I am bringing the Butter Vanilla Sugar cookies for Easter dinner which I am sure will be hit my sugar cookies typically are.
