Disney and Pixar’s Elio is out now on digital and will be available on Blu-ray, DVD, Steelbook, and 4K UHD on September 9, 2025.  Elio, a space fanatic with an active imagination, finds himself on a cosmic misadventure where he must form new bonds with eccentric alien life forms, navigate a crisis of intergalactic proportions and somehow discover who he is truly meant to be.

My Opinion: Elio is a heartfelt and emotional journey that dives into some surprisingly dark and mature territory, especially for a Pixar film. At its core, the movie is about loss, grief, and isolation, told through the eyes of a child. Elio’s experience of losing his parents is a heavy theme, and Pixar doesn’t shy away from it. In fact, it’s that raw emotional honesty that gives the film its power.
