Watching this film brought me back to my childhood, which was dysfunctional; my dad never complimented my siblings or me. I come from a family of 6 other siblings. My dad never had a father growing up, and his mother was unhappy and mean, so he was never shown love or knew how to show it, but he tried the best he knew how. I still have wounds, and I see this now and realize I need to fix that and not let it hold me back anymore. If I did not see this movie, I would have never known so if you if your relationship with your dad left wounds, this film is for you.
