Erwin, Cindy Bond, Bart Millard, Daryl Lefever, Joshua Walsh.
After the breakout success of the song “I Can Only Imagine,”
Mercy Me’s Bart Millard (John Michael Finley) has it all – until fame starts to
cost him what matters most. When hopeful newcomer Tim Timmons (Milo
Ventimiglia, “This Is Us”) joins the band for their biggest tour yet, he
unknowingly brings a renewed gratitude to Bart’s life. Based on the true story
behind the hit single “Even If,” I CAN ONLY IMAGINE 2 is the inspiring next chapter of faith, family, and
finding God in the fire.
My Opinion: We all go through life with things that we have to figure out which way to go and we lose our spark. This movie reminds us that is ok and you never know when you will find it again, but in the meantime, still live life even with a heavy burden. I like movies like this as it makes you realize you need to look at another perspective, and Mercy Me is a great band, and this film is moving and inspiring.
