The Outsider

The Outsider being released on Digital Download, DVD and Blu-ray and available to purchase on March 11, 2014 from Image Entertainment and RLJ Entertainment. This movie is directed by Brian Miller (House of the Rising Sun) who also wrote it and stars Jason Patric (The Lost Boys), James Caan (Las Vegas), Craig Fairbrass (East Enders) and Shannon Elizabeth (American Pie). This action movie is about British mercenary Lex Walker who is called to the battlefield of Afghanistan to identify the remains of his daughter. When he arrives to Los Angeles he finds the body in the morgue is not his daughter but a stranger. With his daughter now missing Walker convinces a street wise detective his daughter is alive but in danger. The two follow a trail of high tech intrigue that leads them to his daughters’ former boss, a crooked cyber millionaire who will do whatever it takes to shelter his empire – which can include taking down anyone who gets in his way. Driven by desperation and rage, Walker must fight his way through an army of thugs and hired killer to save one person that means more than life itself.
My Opinion: This is so action packed and suspenseful. I can’t image finding out your child is dead but then when you get there seeing it is not her I would be sad , happy and relieved all at the same time. I really enjoyed this movie and James Caan is an old time actor.
