A great new children’s book out is Reindeer Dust written by Kate Dwyer and Illustrated by Joanne Lew-Vriethoff . This book is an interactive picture book that engages the imagination through family participation. The book tells the exciting tale of how the Reindeer Dust tradition first began. Designed with the entire family in mind the book also includes an easy recipe and poem to be read on Christmas Eve.

My Opinion: The story is beautifully written and illustrated and a nice new tradition for a family to start. I will be sharing this with my young nieces and make some Reindeer Dust for them to sprinkle on Christmas Eve.

How To Use is simply soften the loofah in warm water and massage face/body with sponge in circular direction, either with only the sponge or with our charcoal soap. After use, rinse and hang to dry; recommended to replace after 2 months of use.

My Opinion: I really like the sponge has its own string attached so I can hang to dry in the shower. I really like that it removes dry dead skin and helps with acne skin. I found when I used an improvement in my skins look.

I chose to get my grandmother Mildred who has been deceased a while now as I miss her so much. She was someone you could talk to that listened unconditionally and gave advice when you needed it. The fleece is Printed on fleece or plush fleece, warm, soft, snuggly, durable and machine washable.

My Opinion: The photo does make a nice gift the picture was very large on a blanket which I was not expecting and came out not very clear a bit with white pits I guess you could say and not clear at all very poor quality.

Garden Gloves and Knee Pad from Monika's Garden

In my state garden season is over as soon the ground will freeze and snow will fall but that does not have me thinking of warmer weather and what I want in my garden next year. So I found some great things that will help out a lot Garden Gloves from Monikas Garden in w three pack that is made with breathable nylon and in three colors one is white with purple flowers, lime green with various colored patterns and white with pink flowers. For the long days kneeling on the ground you need a knee pad so this one came with a lime green one so I do not get sores on my knees that is  in size 15.25" x 11.5" x 0.375" and has a thick foam cushion to protect them knees.

My Opinion: These gloves work great and can be used for more than just garden like raking leaves so your hands do not get blisters and if you want to clean your neighborhood up by picking up trash you could use these for that as well. The gloves are very comfortable and breathable.

The knee pad is thick to prevent my knees from getting marks or sores on them.

Kobrand Wine and Spirits Holiday Gift Guide 2015

During the upcoming holidays you may want to have some adult beverages at your party. I want to tell you about Kobrand they sell a variety of wine & Spirits which I was sent some to review.

Caposaldo Moscato (SRP$11.99) which comes from the cool, maritime climate of Provincia di Pavia in northern Italy’s Lombardy region. Here the 20-year-old guyot-trained vines benefit from the blend of white marl and chalk soils in the low-yielding hillside vineyards. Grapes are handpicked, and after a temperature-controlled fermentation the wine undergoes a natural second fermentation in autoclave, resulting in a fine, persistent effervescence. With notes of bright golden yellow in color, this wine delivers an assertive bouquet with exotic fruit and spice aromas and a fresh, vivacious and highly polished palate. Enjoy with fresh fruits, fruit pies and tarts.

Caposaldo Sparkling Sweet Moscato(SRP14.99) the grapes grow on the cool hilltops of northern Italy’s Lombardy region, where the northern-lying Alps shield the low-yielding hillside vineyards from harsh weather and the 20-year-old Guyot-trained vines benefit from a superb blend of white marl and chalky soils. During harvest, the fruit is carefully handpicked. With notes of bright gold in color, this sweet wine delivers intense pear, peach and spice aromas and flavors, and fresh, vivacious bubbles. Enjoy with fruit pies and tarts, fruit cobblers or fresh strawberries, peaches or raspberries.

Louis Jadot Pouilly-Fuisse  (SRP $23.99)is a reasonably priced white wine with a crisp, clean taste. With its subtle fruit flavors this wine can be enjoyed with rich holiday meals.

Sequoia Grove Cabernet Sauvignon (SRP$39.99) The grapes for the Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon come from the finest vineyard sites in the best appellations of Napa Valley, including the Sequoia Grove Estate and Tonella Estate Vineyards in Rutherford, as well as select parcels from top growers, including Morisoli and Beckstoffer in Rutherford, Stagecoach in Atlas Peak, Lamoreaux in the Oak Knoll District and Healy in St. Helena. All fruit is hand sorted before undergoing a cold soak followed by inoculation with French yeast strains. Individual wines are fermented in small batches with daily pump-overs. The wine then undergoes malolactic fermentation in American oak barrels and is further aged in oak before bottling. Notes include deep ruby in color with intense aromas and flavors of blackberry, red and black cherries and currants interwoven with sweet spice, floral and mineral notes. The palate has a big, round, silky arc with smooth tannins, impeccable balance, and a long, flavorful finish. A versatile food wine, the Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon pairs well with any red meat on the grill, pork tenderloin, heavy cheeses and grilled vegetables.

The Seeker Malbec (SRP$ 13.99) these grapes were discovered at altitude in some of Mendoza’s best terroirs, including the Agrelo and Vistaflores subregions. Vineyards are planted at high density in the foothills of the Andes Mountains, starting above 975 meters (3,200 feet), where the altitude and poor soil result in lower yields and a cooler climate for balanced wines. Grapes are handpicked, destemmed and manually sorted, with only perfectly ripe fruit contributing to Winemaker Didier Debono’s luscious Malbec blend. Cold maceration takes place in stainless steel tanks at 6 to 8°C (43 to 46°F) for four to five days to extract aromatic precursors. Post-fermentation maceration lasts from 7 to 10 days, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged in French oak, followed by a period in bottle before release. The notes are Aromas of fresh red fruit and spice dominate. On the palate, this wine is smooth and robust, with juicy, ripe black cherry flavors culminating in a lingering, spicy finish. Perfectly matched to cured or grilled meats, game, Cajun and Indian-style foods and tinkering with creations .

My Opinion: These can be giving as holiday gift to the wine or foodie. Since the holidays are all about celebrating these are perfect for the party to serve and the prices are very reasonable. The flavors are nice as well.

Scripture Candy Holiday Gift Guide 2015

Scripture Candy is making candy with bible verses on them that are meant to inspire by reaching the world one person at a time. I was recently was send some candy to review I chose Christmas as I want you to see what you can find to hand out to strangers or fellow church goers.  I got Jesus Promise Seeds which are award winning candy corn made with real honey colored red, white and green.   Each individual packet features a "promise" scripture and some say “And ye shall see me and find me when ye shall search for me with your heart. Jeremiah 29:13”. There are approximately 17 individual packets inside a large bag. 

Happy Birthday Jesus Pops which are cute, fruit-flavored, birthday cake-shaped pops are hand crafted and delicious. They are very large pops that last a long time. The simple message of "Happy Birthday Jesus" is a great reminder of the true meaning of 

Christmas and 12 come in a box.

Thick Mint Jar with 70 pieces of candy and 2.6 pounds of chocolate covered cool peppermint patty and each is wrapped in a beautiful foil wrapper that features one of many different inspirational scriptures such as the righteous cry, and the LORD heareth and delivereth then out of all their troubles. My Opinion: I really like all the candy I got and with such flavor. I plan on putting some in Christmas stockings this year and hand out to strangers so they can learn the word of the Lord and show some faith that our world is lacking today.

Vitabath Fragrance Collection Sweet Pink Peppermint and Spice is Nice

As a woman I love to smell but every doctor’s office you go to now has a no perfume sign and I hate to have body odor so using a scented shower gel or lotion is what I now use. When I saw Vitabath had some new fragrances for the holiday season I wanted to try them as their products are sulfate and paraben free. I got the Fragrance Collection 2oz Body Wash & Lotion Carrier with Sweet Pink Peppermint with a playful scent of cool pink candy cane mixed with cheery vanilla and sugary musk. Spice Is Nice is a perfect blend of fresh pumpkin and allspice mixed with delicious cream cheese icing and finished off with notes of rum and maple syrup.

My Opinion: What can I say I love both scents but if I had to choose one it would be Spice is Nice as I love the pumpkin scent a lot. The cute little carrier is great for gift given or if you wanted to break up the set for stocking stuffers that could work as well. 

I Love Vitabath products and would recommend to anyone to try for themselves.
