NeuEve Vulva Balm Cream & BV Clear

**This is a sponsored post which I received free products and compensation for this review. I was not swayed in any way to give a positive or negative review just because this happens.

If you are like me and in your 40’s you are approaching menopause age and wonder what to do about certain women issues which can be vaginal dryness.  NeuEve Vulva Balm Cream is for vulvar itching, burning, dryness, atrophy, painful intercourse and/or vaginal muscle spasm. This is used externally where the suppositories do not reach.
For BV you can use BV Clear which are natural vaginal suppositories developed by a gynecologist. One pack of BV Clear has 3 suppositories.

For premenopausal women and early menopausal women (or age younger than 55), NeuEve BV Clear can be directly used for BV relief. For postmenopausal women (or age older than 55), they could be sensitive to BV Clear. It is recommended to start with the milder NeuEve Silk Formula for 1 month. If it does not clear BV symptoms completely, BV Clear can be used next. Bacterial vaginosis (BV) has many symptoms, including fishy odor, discharge, burning, and itching. Some symptoms can be confused with symptoms of yeast, trichomoniasis, and other sexually transmitted infections. Therefore, BV is often misdiagnosed.
My Opinion: I suffer from BV and it goes away but then comes back so it makes me very self-conscious with my sexual partners. I used this product and it helped me tremendously. The Vulva Balm Cream helped to make intercourse not painful and enjoyable, I am so happy as we age things start to get dry and without products to help with sex life can be dull, unfulfilled and boring. I know I need that sexual connection with my partner to grown.

NeuEve is gluten-free, hormone-free and estrogen-free. NeuEve does NOT contain any boric acid, petrochemicals, parabens, BHT, T.E.A, M.E.A, urea, glycols, PEG's, etc. NeuEve has never been tested on animals and does not contain any animal product.
About NeuEve: As a gynecologist, it’s very common for friends to seek out Renjie for free medical advice. When Renjie and her friends started going through menopause, one problem stood out to her as very important and unaddressed.
Vaginal dryness. Her friends reluctantly shared their stories of memories of once passionate romance, physical and emotional pain, and fears of loss.

  1. On NeuEve's website, the company claims that their product is a safe alternative for women who need to avoid estrogen, i.e. women who have (or have had) cancer, or are estrogen sensitive. This product contains lavender oil, an essential oil KNOWN to be estrogenic to the system. I started using NeuEve a couple of years ago. I'm 59 years old, postmenopausal and a sufferer of vaginal atrophy. I wanted a non-estrogenic product to deal with my atrophy, because I had been prone to fibroids in my childbearing years. About a month after I started using NeuEve, I began to have those telltale signs I remembered from having fibroids: pelvic pain, a weak urine stream and a bloated feeling. I backed off on NeuEve and, in a few weeks, the symptoms went away. I wrote to the company and suggested that the lavender oil in their product was estrogenic and was causing a return of my fibroids, and they wrote back assuring me that their product wasn't causing the symptoms. I went back on it; the symptoms came back. I did this a few times, and even switched formulas, from Silk to Silver. On the Silver, my symptoms became even WORSE, so I quit NeuEve altogether. Meanwhile, this week I had a CT scan because of a pain in my lower right abdomen, and I was diagnosed with an ovarian cyst and uterine fibroids, all signs of excess estrogen. Before using NeuEve, I had been totally fibroid-free for ten years (since menopause).
I just want to put this warning out to women who should not under any circumstances use estrogen, because of cancer or any other issue. Do not use this product!!! Lavender is estrogenic, and NeuEve contains lavender!
