No Nuttin'

I received in the mail as part of a product review No Nuttin’ Natural Foods. No Nuttin’ sells a variety of Gluten Free Oatmeal, Granola Bars, Trail mix with Seeds, Granola. I received Granola Bars, The Daily Hug Oatmeal, Granola and the Trail mix with seeds. They are low in calorie and high in fiber which is good for a balanced diet, Free of Allergens and Gluten Free. I love the flavor of the oatmeal it has apples in cinnamon in it so it gave it a nice flavor so you do not have to add anything like you do with the plain, the sweetness was just right for my taste buds as well. The prices are very reasonable. You can learn more by visiting www.nonuttin.com . They can be purchased from their website. I have also included a little bit about the company as I like for you to see how they got started and there mission statement is also an important factor to me when purchasing a product. Alana Elliott is an educator, mother and food manufacturer who understands what it’s like to live with life-threatening food allergies. Alana has suffered from asthma, eczema and environmental allergies since childhood. In 1992, she married Rob Elliott who has food allergies to clams and shellfish. Statistically speaking, the combination of Rob and Alana was bound to create some food allergies in their children. Both of their girls, Sarah and Megan, developed dairy allergies as infants which they both outgrew. However, Megan continues to be allergic to peanuts, almonds, kiwi and chickpeas and must carry epi-pens at all times. After Megan entered school, Alana and Rob grew increasingly frustrated with the lack of safe, natural, healthy snacks available for both Megan and her classmates. In 2002, The Elliott Family moved to Vancouver Island where Alana acted on that frustration by starting Nonuttin’ Foods. Her goal was to create safe food for most food allergies and she began producing the world’s first allergy friendly granola bars in 2004. In 2007, Nonuttin’ granola bars and granolas were the first to begin using gluten free oats so that Celiacs could also enjoy their great taste.Nonuttin’ granola bars were served to the world’s Official Olympic Broadcasters during Vancouver’s 2010 Olympics and Paralympics and were featured on The Martha Stewart Show in April 2010.Being a food manufacturer means being responsible to the many consumers who must safely enjoy Nonuttin’ products. Alana believes that part of that responsibility must include education for those requiring or choosing special diets. Whether you are looking for tasty food choices, interested in the latest science, looking for tips or feeling overwhelmed, Alana hopes to offer you the information and products you need to successfully navigate your journey. For detailed information on No Nuttin’ products, please visit the Nonuttin’ Canadian or American webstore. Thank you for your support of our family's company.
