With Earth Day on April 22, 2014 you start thinking about what you can do to make a difference in your home the way you live or in your community. I recently discovered BioBag they make bags that are compostable made with Mater-Bi which is starched derived from plants, vegetable oils and compostable polymers from raw materials and fossil fuels.
I got the Lawn and Leaf bag which come in a package of 10 and can be used to put yard waste in instead of using paper bags as then when wet with stand the weather.
Resealable Sandwich Bags which comes with 25 bags and can be used daily for your snacks to be stored in.
Resealable Food Storage Bags comes in a box of 20 which can be used to store other food items.
My Opinion: I really find these work well as I used bags a lot for my lunches to work and knowing when I throw these away they will be biodegradable instead of sitting in a landfill for a long time before breaking down is great. They work just as well for my snacks and trash as other bags except better for the environment.

I'm huge on conserving our resources and love there is an actual day to commemorate it. It means we really have to try to conserve more, all year long since we have limited resources and more people to accommodate. ~Deb
