You may see the little yellow Schwan’s truck in your neighborhood but have you tried them? It has been a million year since I have tried Schwan’s and I have to say they products they carry are comparable to any wholesale store similar to BJ’s or a Sam’s Club. I was able to review them and placed my order online with a day they would be coming along with a two hour window. They also called 45 minutes before they arrived to my house which if I knew that I would not have had to be home as early as I was and continue with my normal afternoon events.
I got the Mexican Pizza which came in an original pizza crust is made with layers of naturally rising dough, creating a crunchy outside and soft inside for the perfect bite. Each pizza is smothered with our special herb-flavored sauce; made from scratch with vine-ripened tomatoes, and topped with 100% real Cheddar cheese, jalapeno-seasoned jumbo sausage, green chilies, tomatoes, crunchy tortilla chips, cilantro, green onions, red bell peppers and black olives.
Bagel Dogs with Cheese in a package of 12 which are fully cooked and have premium sausage which is made with a blend of pork, smoky beef, and select Wisconsin Cheddar cheese and wrapped in an onion and garlic flavored poppy seed bagel dough roll.
Rocky Road Sundae Cone which comes in a package of 12 and made with velvety smooth chocolate ice cream swirled with chewy marshmallow ribbons, drizzled with chocolate and sprinkled with crushed almonds and chocolate bits.
My Opinion: I really liked everything I got the bagel dogs I cooked in the oven and if I did not overcook them they would not have been hard on the edges. The Ice Cream cones were not too chocolaty for me which some can be and I am not a huge chocolate ice cream fan but my husband is. I would use them again especially for upcoming holidays as I can get bulk food and summer cook outs etc.
