Be Bold a Coloring Devotional by Ellen Elliott

Be Bold a Coloring Devotional by Ellen Elliott offers an outlet to simultaneously focus on God’s Word and express creativity. Using scripture as the foundation for her designs, Ellen Elliot takes readers through a series of inspiring verses reinforced with short devotional writings. Topics include joy, hope, self-image, peace, and more. Each coloring page and corresponding devotional will help the reader develop a closer relationship with the Heavenly Father. On a page inside say “I know the plan I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” – Jeremiah 29:11

Wouldn’t It be nice to have a script for your life? That way, whenever life gets scary or confusing, you can pull the script off the shelf and find out exactly what you’re supposed to do next. Want to know whether you’re in a comedy or a tragedy? Just take a look at the script. You would know how to act in certain scenes, rather stay or go, laugh or cry, try or quit. You would know exactly which movie to see, which boots to wear, and who will take you to the prom. You can sidestep traps of heartache and disappointment with these. Well, God has already written the story of your life he knows the way things are going to turn out. He has made plans for your life, and they are good! God’s plans for you include joy, adventure, and love. Our faith grows as we trust him one day at a time one minute at a time. Difficulties and problems are going to happen, but your story does not end in despair. Because you know Christ, your life is not a tragedy. it is a love story.

You don’t have to worry about your future because he is holding your story in the palm of his hand. On the other page, it has your picture to color I know the plans I have for you Jeremiah 29:11
My Opinion: I can really resonate with this book and there are some things that I can learn I really like reading the Scriptures because I don’t normally do that but it’s important to walk in your faith with the Lord Jesus Christ. This book doesn’t have a lot of coloring involved on some pages mostly words and Scriptures to color with a few patterns in the background in the back of the book this many places that you can write things in for reflection later. But I did enjoy this very much.
