Now that summer is here, I have been looking to try new, healthy, delicious summertime recipes since I am looking to lose some weight and was looking to make healthier choices, it is important to still get all the nutrients your body needs, such as Vitamin D, so your bones stay strong and healthy.
This is exactly why I wanted to give Hood’s Simply Smart a try! Using an innovative technique called ultra-filtration, they remove some of the water that makes low-fat milk look and tastes watery. The result is delicious milk, rich in nutrition and taste. Simply Smart Fat-Free Milk provides 25% more protein and 20% more calcium than whole milk, is low in cholesterol and is a good source of Vitamin D. You can choose from Fat-Free, 1% Low Fat and Chocolate Fat-Free, which I used in the recipe below which was not only delicious but nutritious!
