Out now on DVD is The Berenstain Bears Lend a
Helping Hand will include 6 episodes Lend a Helping Hand, Think of Those in
Need, Hug and Makeup, Moving Day, Big Bear, Small Bear, and The Birthday
Boy. Lend a Helping Hand with Brother and Sister Bear learn about helping others
when they run into the frail and elderly Widder Jones on their way to a
friend’s house. She recruits the duo to help with chores, which doesn’t excite
the siblings.
However, they soon learn that helping others can be truly
rewarding. Other adventures on this DVD include Brother and Sister running out
of storage space as they try and tidy their room, and then Brother apologizes
to Sister when he discovers he has hurt her feelings. This DVD runs 60 minutes
long.
My Opinion: I used to watch The
Berenstain Bears when I was a kid in the 1980s and they are always full of
life lessons and family-oriented and this DVD is the same.
