All the Places We Call Home By Patrice Gopo and illustrated by Jenin Mohammed from Worthy Kids. Each night, a young girl traces lands on a globe. And each night, her mama pulls her close and tells her stories about those lands, transporting them both across oceans, across seas, and into meaningful memories of the places the family has called home.
Mama’s memories remind her daughter of a comforting truth:
The
places we come from are part of us, even if we can’t always be near them.
My Opinion: This book is a great one to travel back in time and places where you lived before to share with your children. The book is also beautifully illustrated.
