** Warner Brothers Home Entertainment provided me with a free copy which I reviewed in this blog post. The opinions I share are my own”. *
Perfect for Christmas and out now from Warner Brothers Home Entertainment is DC’s Legends of Tomorrow: The Complete Series. DC's Legends of Tomorrow follows a ragtag group of misfit heroes charged with protecting time itself. This responsibility takes them across history, bringing them up against bizarre threats unlike any humanity has ever known.
Screwing up history for the better, the Legends protect the
timeline from aberrations, anomalies, and anything else that threatens to mess
with history.
Set in the same universe as
"Arrow" and "The Flash," this thrilling DC Comics-inspired
series debuted in 2016. Time-traveler Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) must assemble
a group of heroes and villains in an effort to prevent a future where the Earth
is conquered by an evil despot. The team includes shrinking crime fighter the Atom
(Brandon Routh), reincarnated warriors Hawkman (Falk Hentschel) and Hawkgirl
(Ciara Renée), the icy Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), and Martin Stein
(Victor Garber) and Jefferson Jackson (Franz Drameh), who join together to
become the heroic Firestorm.110 episodes on 19 discs. Widescreen; Soundtrack:
English DTS HD 5.1 Master Audio; Subtitles: English (SDH); featurettes; unaired
scenes; gag reel.
My Opinion: I enjoyed the show as it had action,
adventure, heroes, and villains, along with being family-friendly. I like how it uses people
that are misfits as we all can relate.
