Savannah Bee Review and Giveaway

In Georgia  Ted Dennard was first introduced to honey as a 12-year old boy on his father’s Coastal Georgia retreat property. I was recently given the opportunity to review Savannah Bee Honey and they sent me some of their Body Care products. I got Tupelo Honey Body Lotion, Lemongrass Spearmint Body Lotion, Wild Blackberry Body Wash, Mint Blossom Lip Gloss, Tupelo Honey Lip Gloss and Wild Blackberry Lip Gloss. These are all made with real honey and some organic ingredients. The lotions provide Natural rejuvenates and softens while the body wash exfoliates and cleans. The Lip glosses are all natural. 

My Opinion: These are great products and smell amazing. I love the packaging and they work for what they were designed for.

Pore Cleansing Fruit Smoothie Masque which soothes, softens, unclogs pores, three times the antioxidants and can be used weekly, has mango, pomegranate and raspberries. Deep Cleansing Passion Peel Off which is used to deep clean, purify, protect, and can be used weekly made with passion flower and pomegranate.

Green Tea Peel Off this deep cleans, detoxes, purifies, tones and leaves radiant skin, made with Green Tea, Lemon and Ginger you can also use this weekly to detox your skin.

White Chocolate Face Masque this is used to deep clean your skin, smooth, soften, gluten free, dairy free and reveals a radiant, glowing complexion; Made with Almond, cream, cocoa butter, shea butter and jojoba.

These masks come in 0.3oz packets and can be purchased at Wal-Mart or Ulta. These are great for Mother’s Day and a weekly spa feeling to escape from the busy kids and family who won’t let you have mom time as your very active.

My Opinion: I love the feel of the masks and my skin looks great when all is said and done. You could treat your mom to a spa day for Mother’s Day and do a facial, nails and it would just take time and no money spend so it would be a thoughtful gift;  Makes a great birthday gift, just because gift and more.

Chia Pet Hello Kitty

I recently was given the opportunity to review Chia Pet and I picked Hello Kitty as it is new and one I have never seen before. If you have seen the commercial for Chia Pet you know how it works you spread the seeds water and in two weeks you have a full coat. The only part that grows is the head behind her little bow. You can grow up to three times and then use it to grown basil, alfalfa or thyme. My Opinion: I like this as it is the first plant I did not kill as I seem to kill every plant or flower I have ever owned and it is so easy to grow and Hello Kitty looks so cute with the chia grass. This would make a good gift for Mother’s Day or a young child to help grow.

I recently was sent some packets to sample which are Vanilla Bean Latte, Coffee Latte, Pistachio, Coconut, Strawberry Banana, Orange Creamsicle, Belgian Hot Chocolate and Chocolate Banana.  You mix this with water or milk also ice then put in the blender so far I have tried the Pistachio and it came out like a milkshake and was rather tasty but I did notice it was sweet so I will modify that on my next one with either more milk or less mix.

I also wanted to share with Trisha Henry Gaffney's story she is a cancer survivor and mother. On Valentine’s Day 1996, 19-year-old Trisha was diagnosed with embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma, an aggressive tumor usually found in the head, neck, hands or feet of young children. Trisha’s was the first reported case to occur in the right ureter, the tube connecting the kidney and bladder. 
After going through surgery to remove her right kidney, ureter and a portion of her bladder, Trisha spent a year at the Aflac Cancer Center undergoing chemotherapy and radiation. “You don’t want your cancer to define you,” Trisha said, “but as you get older, 
you realize it plays a much bigger part in your life than you’re willing to admit.
