New York Style Pita Chips Recipes For New Year's Parties



Well it is that time of the year again where we say goodbye to one year and welcome a new one. I always like to make New Year’s resolutions and some people like to reflect on the past year. New Year’s Eve there are so many parties and maybe you might be hosting some. Let me share with some easy recipes from New York Style Pita Chips to serve at your party.

Butternut Squash Bruschetta Dip
Prep Time: 20 minutes
 Cook Time: 8 minutes
Makes 3 Cups of Dip
INGREDIENTS:
2 TBSP. Olive Oil
3 Cups Diced Butternut Squash
½ Cup Coarsely Chopped Dried Cranberries
2 Ounces Procuitto Chopped
1/3 Cup Crumbled Blue Cheese
1 TBSP. Chopped Fresh Sage
DIRECTIONS:
Heat olive oil in large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add squash and cook 6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until squash is tender-crisp.
Stir in cranberries and prosciutto. Cook 2 minutes or squash is tender.
Remove from heat, let cool; stir in blue cheese and sage. Serve with New York Style Pita Chips, works best with New York Style Ancient Grains & Flaxseed, Chia Seeds & Quinoa, Sea Salt, Parmesan Garlic & Herb or Red Hot Chili Pepper Pita Chips.
*Substitute 1 (16-oz.) package frozen diced squash for fresh squash. Reduce first cook time to 3 minutes.







Strawberry Marscarpone Dip
Prep Time: 15 Min
Serves: 2 1/2 cups

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup Mascarpone Cheese
1 cup whole milk ricotta cheese
1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
1 Tbsp. Grand Marnier
1/2 cup sliced strawberries
3 Tbsp. balsamic glaze



DIRECTIONS:
Beat mascarpone with ricotta, maple syrup, and Grand Marnier in large bowl with electric mixer until thoroughly combined and smooth. Spoon mascarpone mixture into serving bowl and enjoy.
Top with strawberries and drizzle with balsamic glaze. Serve with New York Style Pita Chips, works best with New York Style Ancient Grains & Flaxseed, Chia Seeds & Quinoa, or Sea Salt Pita Chips.





Goat Cheese Logs 3 Ways
Prep Time 15 Minutes
Makes 12 Servings

Goat Cheese with Fig Pistachios and Cranberries

INGREDIENTS:

1 8-11 oz. package goat cheese
3 Tbsp. fig spread
1/3 cup coarsely chopped pistachio
1/3 cup coarsely chopped dried cranberries

DIRECTIONS:

Place goat cheese on shallow plate and brush fig spread over goat cheese. Combine pistachios and cranberries and pour over goat cheese. Roll goat cheese in pistachio mixture, pressing mixture into goat cheese until evenly coated. Serve with New York Style Pita Chips, works best with New York Style Ancient Grains & Flaxseed, Chia Seeds & Quinoa, Sea Salt Pita Chips.

Goat Cheese with Chipotle, Honey & Peptitos

INGREDIENTS:
3 Tbsp. honey
1/8 tsp. ground chipotle chili powder
1 8-11 oz. package goat cheese
1/3 cup pepitos (pumpkin seeds)
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro

DIRECTIONS:
Combine honey and chipotle chili powder. Place goat cheese on shallow plate and drizzle honey mixture over goat cheese. Combine pepitos and cilantro and pour over goat cheese. Roll goat cheese in pepitos mixture, pressing mixture into goat cheese until evenly coated. Serve with New York Style Pita Chips.

Goat Cheese with Pesto, Pine Nuts & Sundried Tomatoes

INGREDIENTS:
1 8-11 oz. package goat cheese
1 Tbsp. prepared pesto
1/3 cup coarsely chopped pine nuts
1/3 cup coarsely chopped sundried tomatoes


DIRECTIONS:
Place goat cheese on shallow plate and brush pesto over goat cheese. Combine pine nuts and tomatoes and pour over goat cheese. Roll goat cheese in pine nut mixture, pressing mixture into goat cheese until evenly coated. Serve with New York Style Pita Chips.
